Design insight
Australia is a deeply multicultural nation—about 30% of its population is foreign-born, and over half are first or second-generation migrants. As immigrant families grow more widespread, memories of ancestral heritage and cultural roots can fade. This is where the Family Tree Explorer app becomes invaluable: it digitises family histories, traditions, festivals, and heritage into personal “living history books.” This ensures that cultural identity and stories are preserved, no matter the distance or the passing of generations.
